Equishare Riding Club

With the ever-rising cost and long-term commitment of horse ownership, many riders are choosing leasing as a way to stay in the saddle.

The FlySpur Ranch EquiShare program takes the idea of horse leasing one step further. By sharing in a pool of horses, there is no need for advance reservations, and your total riding time can be virtually unlimited. All for a lot less than the average cost of owning and boarding your own horse.

FlySpur Ranch maintains a string of well-schooled Western Pleasure horses, for the express purpose of providing you the ultimate equestrian enjoyment of Central Oregon’s many stunning trail experiences. For those who like to really move out, our Tennessee Walkers provide that incomparably smooth gait at whatever speed you like. For the more traditional rider, try our Quarter Horses instead.

Our beautiful Tennessee Walkers are the perfect trail horse for any level of rider. They are strong, smooth, reliable and experienced. A gaited horse can really move out without requiring a lot of effort from the rider. By riding out to fish, we can reach more remote waters that are often less pressured and even more scenic – if that's possible! And we can reach much more quickly and with less effort than hiking. Save your energy for fighting the enormous trout and steelhead! Packing out to backcountry fish is one of the most delightful ways to experience so much of what Central Oregon has to offer. An experience you will never forget.

Pick the horse you like best, or try them all. It’s your choice.

Want to ride whenever you can, but not pay whenever you can’t? Try the EquiShare Riding Program at FlySpur Ranch.
